Telephone Befriending

Being visually impaired makes someone far more likely to be socially isolated and we hate the idea of anyone feeling lonely! Our telephone befriending service will match you with a volunteer to call you each week (or however often works best for you) to make sure you have someone to talk to.

We have telephone befrienders who speak the following languages:
Arabic, Bengali, Dutch, French, German, Gujarati, Hindu, Krio, Malayalam, Oriya, Punjabi, Romanian, Spanish, Tamil, Urdu, and many more - new languages are being added all the time so if you would like a telephone befirender in a language not listed, please do get in touch to find out whether it is available.
