Equipment and Resources

If you’re affected by sight loss, there are a lot of resources out there to help you with everyday tasks and make sure nothing is beyond your reach! These range from liquid level indicators to help you pour a hot drink safely up to CCTV readers to help you read your post. Our Equipment and Resources Officer can visit you at home, or anywhere else you feel comfortable, to guide you through the many options that are out there for you to make sure you find the right solution for you, including the opportunity to try out the different options yourself. If you are concerned about being able to afford a piece of equipment or tech you need, we may be able to help you secure a grant to pay for it.
