Free Home Energy Support - free advice, home visits and equipment

Futureproof Cumbria (previously Cumbria Action for Sustainability's Cold to Cosy Homes service) offers FREE energy-saving advice and equipment to help you make your home warmer and cost less to heat.

Our team has already helped thousands of households save money on their heating bills and do their part for the planet by using less energy.

Anyone can benefit from a FREE advice phone call from a qualified advisor to provide energy advice, and many people are also eligible for a home visit by an independent, trusted and qualified advisor to give advice and guidance in many areas, including heating, damp, ventilation and grants. Here are some of the ways we can support you:

  • Energy-efficient equipment such as FREE LED light bulbs
  • Draughtproofing support
  • Help with understanding your energy bills and advice on switching energy tariff.
  • Referral to support agencies or for other grants

Our services are open to all, whether you're applying for yourself or on behalf of someone else. We're here to listen and assist, so don't hesitate to reach out. Our team is eager to hear from you and help you on your energy-saving journey.

For more than 25 years, we have been helping people save energy in their homes.
