Heartlink is a local charity led by heart patients, for heart patients and their families. Based in Southall, Greenford, Hanwell, Ealing, and West London, we provide support, advice, and community activities for people living with heart conditions, especially those undergoing or recovering from hospital treatment.
Our services include:
- One-to-one advice from people who have experienced heart conditions themselves.
- Community Hub events featuring chair yoga, tea & snacks, bingo, and friendly conversation.
- Regular meetings with cardiologists and health professionals.
- Weekly walkers group to encourage gentle exercise and social connection.
- Public information desks and stalls at local events.
- Educational workshops and health awareness campaigns to help you understand risk factors like high blood pressure, poor diet, smoking, and lack of exercise.
- Outreach and volunteering opportunities for those who want to help others or get involved in the community.
We empower people to make healthier choices and reduce their risk of heart-related conditions. Our events are welcoming and inclusive, with free parking and easy access by public transport. All are welcome – whether you need help, want to support others, or simply want to get involved.
Cost: Most activities are free for members and supporters.
