Walking Football: Copeland Network

Welcome to west Cumbria's fastest growing (but not fastest moving) sport. Walking football is about making friends, getting some exercise, having fun, and most importantly, not running! It's a sport for older people of all abilities and footballing backgrounds, and we welcome all genders into mixed sessions. Sessions also welcome members of younger ages for whom full paced football is just not viable. Local teams are led by independent volunteers and club affiliations.

Age UK West Cumbria do not coordinate teams but support and promote the sport where possible. Local partners include Millom Network Centre, Millom Rugby League Club, the Cumberland FA and Active Cumbria.
