Adult Skills - Employability & Wellbeing (Kent & Medway)

Adult Skills LEVEL 1 Employability and Wellbeing:

This program covers both job readiness and wellbeing, 
giving participants the tools they need to confidently 
enter or re-enter the workplace. Upon completion, 
participants will be guaranteed the chance to interview 
directly with an employer and gain a qualification. 

This applies to people who are: 
• Unemployed and job seeking 
• People aged 19+ 
• Kent residents 
• People who want to upskill 

Method of delivery:

• Individual and tailored information, advice and guidance by our Employment Coach

• A mixture of taught group sessions and independent learning

• 1-2-1 tutor support and e-learning with access to an ePortfolio

 Understanding mindset and developing assertiveness 
 Job and training search skills 
 Job application skills, cover letters and CV writing 
 Business and customer awareness 
 Problem solving and time management at work 
 Managing health and wellbeing in the workplace 
 Introduction to stress and stress management 
 Develop an awareness of mental health 
 Personal safety awareness 
 Introduction to healthy eating and drinking for adults 
 Weight management and body image

Entry Requirements: 

Basic IT skills
Ability to work independently
Learners should be working towards Entry Level 3 in English
