The Rame Centre is a welcoming community hub in Millbrook, Cornwall, run by The Peninsula Trust and a friendly team of volunteers.
Open Monday to Saturday, the centre offers a wide range of practical support and opportunities for local residents, including:
- Computer access, scanning, and printing for those needing digital resources.
- Food bank donation and collection to support those in need.
- A warm space for anyone seeking comfort and community.
- Micro library for borrowing books and enjoying reading.
- Outreach Post Office services available on Mondays and Thursdays.
- Art workshops and a community art wall for local artists and craft makers to showcase their work.
- Training and meeting space for groups and organisations.
- Advertising window for local events and initiatives, with weekly changes to highlight community activities.
Residents can book one-to-one appointments with our Local Support Worker for help with crisis grants, housing advice and advocacy, benefits information, and signposting to other support organisations. The centre has built a strong local network to ensure people receive meaningful and relevant information and guidance.
Room hire: The training room is available to rent from £6 an hour. Contact us to check availability and book.
