Our friendly team provides specialist support for people living with health conditions, mobility issues, social isolation, or dementia. Whether you need practical help, want to join social activities, or require confidential advice, we are here for you.

  • Elizabeth Activity & Care Centre: A safe, welcoming space for older people needing extra support, including those with dementia or mobility challenges.
  • Handyperson & Gardening Service: For Barnsley residents aged 50+, we offer help with basic DIY jobs and garden maintenance to keep your home safe and comfortable.
  • Information & Advice: Get free, confidential support with benefits, social care, housing, and more from our trained staff and volunteers.
  • Physical Activity Directory (BOPPAA): Discover dozens of opportunities to get active in Barnsley, with activities suitable for all abilities.
  • Shops: Find bargains and donate unwanted items to support our work.
