At Lamp, we provide Independent Advocacy in the community to individuals, and their carers who live in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. We support people to tackle their mental health and/or physical health related issues with a person-centred, and needs focused approach.
Our service can offer support with;
-Helping people to get their voice heard in appointments or communications with health and/or community services.
-Assist people to understand information and options available to them, in relation to their needs or problems they are facing.
-Support people to challenge any decisions that have been made in regards to their health, care or treatment in the community.
-We can also support people who are voluntarily admitted to the Bradgate Unit (informal patients).
We can offer male and female advocates, and have access to interpretation services if required.
