Companionship for Carers

Crossroads Care Wokingham works with carers and the people they care for, supporting people of all ages and disabilities, providing carers with essential breaks from the stresses of caring. We provide the special quality of care that gives carers the peace of mind to let someone else step into their shoes.

Our services are reliable, flexible and tailored made to meet your requirements. We welcome clients with different kinds of funding including personal budget holders. Our mission is to give you the peace of mind to enjoy life alongside caring.

As a carer, you might at times feel very isolated from your families and friends.  Likewise, the person you care for may, because of their illness or disability, have lost touch with their families, friends and colleagues.  By taking up the Companionship Service, our care worker will accompany you and your cared for a person together to attend any family celebrations or social gatherings.

Alternatively, our care workers can accompany the person with care needs for social outings without the carers.
