Mums Matter is a supportive project from Havering Mind designed to empower mums to take control of their health and wellbeing during the challenges of motherhood. If you are feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or more tearful than usual, you are not alone—this service is here to help.
What we offer:
- An 8-week course created by mums, for mums, specifically for those experiencing perinatal mental health challenges.
- Practical and emotional support using a holistic approach, helping you build confidence and resilience.
- Creche facilities are available, so you can participate fully in group sessions without worrying about childcare.
- 1:1 session for dads/supporters of each mum towards the end of the course, ensuring the whole family is supported.
How to access:
- You can self-refer or be referred by a professional.
- Simply complete the Referral Form to get started.
Who is it for? This early intervention service is open to mums in the local area who are experiencing perinatal mental health challenges and would benefit from group and individual support.
