Acclimbatize is an independently owned and managed outdoor adventure activities provider. We are ideally located in the White Peak area of Derbyshire close to Matlock. Many of our activities utilise the natural environments within the Peak District National Park.

Operational since 1999, the Acclimbatize brand of outdoor activities and learning was established on a solid foundation of best practice and influenced by some of the most highly respected outdoor practitioners in Britain.

From these strong foundations a unique delivery style has evolved and formulated into a distinctive and tangible style of practice. We create meaning from the adventurous activities we provide by placing strong emphasis on team work, engagement and co-operation. We emphasise this in briefings and capture the actions in review. We do this to improve key team working skills and raise levels of individual performance.

Our approach is defined by a policy of ‘Challenge by Choice’. Participants on our courses are positively encouraged and actively supported to achieve their best personal level of challenge. We believe in giving people the space to build and extend their own confidence in a socially acceptable environment that supports learning for all.
