Community Children’s Epilepsy Nursing Team

The Community Children’s Epilepsy Nursing Team helps children and young people in East Kent manage epilepsy safely.

Our specialist nurses provide education, support, and practical advice to children, young people, and their families. We work closely with other health professionals and agencies to ensure the best possible outcomes for every child living with epilepsy.

  • We offer visits and support at home, school, college, clinic, hospital, or workplace, making it easier for families to access care where it suits them best.
  • We provide guidance on administering emergency medication (where prescribed).
  • Our team is dedicated to helping families understand epilepsy, manage medication, and feel confident in responding to seizures.
