The One Front Door was setup at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic to help people find the advice, information and support available to them across Wokingham Borough.

We want to ensure that no-one feels left behind – we triage your situation, unpick your issues and find routes forward - including through advice, and identifying other organisations who can help. We’re here for you whenever you need us.

Our day-to-day service helps people find a way forward with their issues, with a particular focus on queries around welfare benefits, debt, housing, relationship problems and employment law. 

Through our One Front Door, we take the view that there is no wrong reason to reach out to us – if our core service cannot help you find a way forward, we will help you find another service that can.

We are open Monday to Friday 9am-5pm.

We also provide hardship support, including referrals to charities providing food, clothing and other support. We also handle Wokingham United Charities emergency grants programme for relief in need of individuals.
