Kingsbridge Care Hub

Background

Kingsbridge Age Concern (KBAC) is a charitable organisation which promotes the health and wellbeing of senior citizens residing within Kingsbridge and the surrounding areas.  We provide an active social and wellbeing service for anyone over the age of 55 (and the families or carers who support them) offering a range of services, support, and community group meetings throughout the year.

Sit-down meals

We serve 3-course lunches at the Age Concern Centre dining room Monday to Friday (served at 12.30pm) and offer Saturday morning breakfasts between 10am and 1pm.

Both lunch and breakfast must now be booked at least a day in advance, and we currently accept card payments only.  We do have a KBAC card scheme in place for clients who do not have bank cards (many of our customers only use cash).

Meals-on-wheels

We provide a 2-course meal delivery service between 12pm and 1.30pm Monday to Friday.  We currently deliver to clients in and around Kingsbridge, Salcombe, Malborough, Thurlestone, South Milton, Churchstow, West Alvington, West Charleton, East Charleton, Frogmore, Chillington and Stokenham.
