Opportunities is a service that supports people with mental health issues to achieve their aspirations towards work.

We do this through a range of training, education and employment options tailored to individual needs. We provide coaching and support to help people improve their self-confidence on their journey into work. This may include:

  • 1:1 specialist employment support tailored to individual needs to achieve aspirations;
  • Peer Support;
  • Opportunities to learn new skills, personal growth and development;
  • Help with voluntary and paid employment;
  • Support for people to maintain their health and wellbeing in work;
  • Advice and information on employment, careers, learning and benefits.

Referrals to the Opportunities team can be made directly to Pluss by:

  • Medical professionals such as Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Community Psychiatric Nurses (CPN’s), Recovery Coaches,
  • Occupational Therapists and GP’s.
  • Support Workers.
Service access criteria: 18+ GP located in Torbay and South hams or Teignbridge. Must be referred by a professional
