Rose Buddies, Creative Support

Rose Buddies Community Support Service is for adults with learning disabilities, who live in Wokingham Borough and receive low or no statutory community care/support services.

We have a daily drop-in, Monday-Friday, at various venues across the Wokingham Borough. 

At the drop-ins we provide :

  • Information about what’s going on in the local area
  • Support with filling in forms (e.g. benefits, booking holidays, courses, etc)
  • Reading letters (e.g. doctor’s letter, bills, etc.)
  • Sign posting and referrals
  • Its also open to members to sit and have a chat with support, over a nice drink :)


We also run several Activities through the week. We currently have the following open:

  • Tuesday - Bloom Buddies Session (gardening group) Free to attend.
  • Wednesday - Craft Session £2 per session, paid in advance each month.
  • Thursday - Active Session. Free to attend.

As soon as we can, we also have Movie Mates on a Monday evening and attend swimming sessions at a local leisure centre.

We also have workshops and group work, of activities run locall and by Head Office.

Each month, Members also choose, plan and organise a day trip out togther, where support is provided to new places.
