Young people and Children First

YPACF gives a home to young people (aged 16-25) who are leaving care or who are homeless.

We currently have three houses in West Berkshire; Cornerstone, Rebecca House and Hope House.

All our young residents are provided with personalised support in a family environment, helping them to develop life skills such as cooking on a budget and money management, as well as recreational activities with other residents and support getting into education, training or work.

Our residents have typically experienced varying challenges during their childhood. We provide them with a stable home, emotional support and practical help during this crucial time as they move into independent adulthood.

With 26% of care leavers going on to experience homelessness the support we provide is vital and we rely on the generous support of our amazing supporters.
