Culture Leicestershire is the County Council’s Museum, Heritage, Libraries, Collections, Learning and Participation services.
Over 500 fantastic volunteers support our services. Our roles are diverse and unique and range from Archaeology Volunteers documenting the collections to Home Library Service volunteers delivering books to people in their own homes. Alongside our traditional volunteers many of our Community Curator projects have a volunteering element where local people take the lead co-creating activity in their museums. We are also delighted to support constituted groups of volunteers who are affiliated to our services such as Leicestershire Shared Reading.
