Bosavern Community Farm, near St Just in West Cornwall, is owned by the local community with three aims benefitting both people and the planet:
1. produce and sell local and sustainable food
2. provide access to land
3. provide a welcoming space and opportunities for people to come together and learn about growing food, regenerative agriculture, conservation and healthy, sustainable living.
We grow lots of different herbs, salads and vegetables and keep chickens for egg laying. We also have a farm shop, run events/workshops/school visits, plant and care for trees, grow wildflowers, have allotments and have stalls at local markets. We have volunteering opportunities in many different areas, from retail and veg harvesting, to clerical admin and bid-writing.
