The Welfare Rights team, part of Derby Advice, provide free, confidential and independent advice on all welfare benefits, including:

Jobseeker's Allowance
Benefits
Council Tax Benefit
Pension Credit
Employment and Support Allowance
Disability Living Allowance
Child Tax Credit and Working Tax Credit
Personal Independence Payment
Universal Credit
If you need support with any aspect of claiming benefits or are unsure about what you may be entitled to, there are a number of ways we can help you: 

Over the telephone - if you are a Derby resident or a professional who represents or supports Derby residents, then you can telephone us for advice.
At the Council House - you can make an appointment to come in to see us.
Home visit - if getting to the Council House is difficult for you then you can contact us to arrange a home visit.
In the community - we can support Derby residents who appeal decisions and need representation at tribunals.
