South Park in Darlington is the oldest public park in the North East of England. 2014 saw the regeneration of the sensory garden and the initial enhancements of the Rose Garden which continued into 2015. The garden was restored back to its Victorian layout with the stunning roses and yew hedging becoming the focal point.
