CGL Aspire Recovery Service - Peterborough

Aspire is here to help with life’s challenges such as problems with drinking or drugs, or if you’re just looking to live a happier and healthier life. If you are concerned about something and don’t know what steps to take, Aspire have lots of advice and information that can help, plus a support group. They understand everybody’s experience is different and personalise your support.

Aspire works with people around substance use but also much more, to help people to recover and rebuild healthier aspects of their lives in safe, small groups. Lots of the staff have lived experience of substance use and recovery. Examples of group activities include:

art and crafts
physical activities like swimming and exercise
acupuncture
mindfulness
movie and book clubs
cooking classes
and more…

There is also a group for impacted family members called Butterflies, which meet for mutual support.
