Medway Volunteer Workshop is based in Chatham, Kent. Our workshop volunteers refurbish and repurpose all tools, pillar drills, generators and air compressors. We also refurbish sewing machines and make up carpenters kits for Tools With A Mission based in Ipswich who send around 20 containers to Africa every year, each filled with over 10 tonnes of tools.
We are always on the lookout for volunteers who have an interest in putting their practical skills to good use. Our volunteering opportunities would be of specific interest to those who are retired;those that have an interest in using their carpentry or electrical skills;or even veterans who have experience as engineers or have worked as part of the public or armed services.
Must be aged over 18 (essential)
Able to understand how to work safely in a workshop environment (essential)
