Bridging the Blues is Chelsea FC Foundation's series of 12 week healthy lifestyle programmes. Providing community based group exercise sessions for those with long term health conditions. All programmes are delivered by Chelsea FC Foundation and developed in partnership with Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. They sessions aim to support participants to be more active, whilst covering topics such as diet and emotional wellbeing support.
The Foundation are currently delivering the following programmes:
- TIA/Minor-Stroke Rehab (Chelsea & Westminster Hospital)
- Cardiac Rehab (Charing Cross Sports Centre)
- Pulmonary Rehab (Charing Cross Sports Centre)
- Cancer Rehab (Chelsea Sports Centre)
For inclusive sport and exercise opportunity for older adults not linked to a specific health condition, the foundation also offer exercise & mobility and adapated sports sessions. For more information please email foundation.enquiries@chelseafc.com.
Participants must have one of the following long term health conditions:
- TIA/Minor-Stroke
- Cardiac
- Pulmonary
- Cancer
All participants will receive a screening call prior to being accepted onto the programme.
