Mind in Harrow Mens Social and Support Group

Mind in Harrow now has a mens group! The group meets every Tuesday in the Mind in Harrow office between 2pm-4pm (please arrive at 1:45pm). The address of the Mind in Harrow office is:

4th Floor, 132-134 College Road, Harrow, HA1 1BQ

Mind in Harrow is able to provide soup for lunch as well as hot drinks and refreshments.

This group seeks to enable a space for men to be men. To network, share life experiences, receive support from other men, discuss important topics affecting men in today’s society and most importantly to be able to laugh and socialise in a comfortable and social environment.

We also aim to create a supportive and safe environment for men to discuss problems in their lives and perhaps encourage them to access appropriate services. We know that men find it more difficult to open up about problems in their lives and we want to create the space for them to feel comfortable to do so.

Our mens group is entirely co-produced with the aim of empowering members to design their own service and also to think more broadly about how to support other men in the community. We intend for this group to be a force for good, talking to hard-to-reach men and supporting them to improve their lives and their mental health.
