Cara Coffee Shelford

‘Cara’ means friend, and a friendly welcome is what you’ll get at Cara Coffee. This café is a social enterprise run by Great Shelford Free Church and local youth charity, Romsey Mill. Cara Coffee is a social enterprise that provides good coffee whilst doing good too. All profits go to local youth & family charity, Romsey Mill. It is mostly staffed by a team of volunteers and young people on work placement learning about the hospitality industry, however the service you will receive is caring and efficient.

There’s a daily menu of food, drinks and snacks including gluten and dairy-free options, freshly made coffee and sweet treats. Everything at Cara Coffee is reasonably priced, and they do their best to source local and ethical produce.

You can sit in the cosy café or there is covered seating outside, front and back.

Cara Coffee is open Tuesday to Saturday, but check the Facebook link for details of times.

If you would like to volunteer at Cara Coffee, contact Romsey Mill via the email link above – they’d be delighted to hear from you. Training will be provided.
