Buckfastleigh Memory Cafe

A memory cafe for local people living with dementia or other memory problems and their loved ones and carers. Uniquely this memory cafe takes place in a designated carriage of a steam train travelling through the beautiful Devon countryside operated by the South Devon Railway. The cafe provides a safe and supportive space to socialise and enjoy a wonderful trip out. Other benefits include peer support, information, guidance and refreshments.

 

3rd Tuesday of every month starting 19th September 2023 3.30 - 5pm

The train leaves Buckfastleigh at 3.45 precisely and it travels to Totnes, arriving back in Buckfastleigh at 5pm. 

Suggested donation £2.50 per person

 

Volunteers are also needed.
