Wellbeing in Nature
Verified service

Green SPark is a partnership between NCHA and Bradgate Park and is funded through the Neighbourhood Mental Health Prevention and Resilience Grant Scheme which is organised by Leicestershire County Council.

We provide free activities at Bradgate Park to help improve wellbeing, as well as linking customers up to green activities in their local area
We run a weekly wellbeing walk on Tuesdays 1pm - 3pm as well as other activities that change regularly. Wood carving, bush craft, art therapy, forest bathing are just a few of the activities that we have ran so far. All of our activities are held outdoors throughout the year.

We also encourage and support customers to transition onto the Bradgate Park Volunteering Team, if they wish to

Our aim is for customers to get out into nature so they can enjoy the benefits whilst also meeting new people, and learning new skills.
