Monthly Woman's Walks

These days are specifically for women living in West Cumbria. We'll go on a different walk each month, and build up your skills in the outdoors. The days will be really supportive and fun, and it really doesn't matter if you are a total beginner! We'll go at a pace to suit the group, and start with some walks not far from Whitehaven. Free mini bus transport is available.  

Our September walk will take us on a lovely loop above Cogra Moss, hopefully ticking off another Wainwright- Blake fell. This walk will be suitable for a mix of abilities but you will need to be ok walking on a few steeper paths too. The walk will be around 9KM and will be a mix of forest tracks and smaller grassy paths on the hill tops. Some of the tracks will feel really easy, and some will feel steeper.
