Supporting Elderly and Disabled People in their Own Homes
Verified service

Faversham Assistance Centre (FACE) is a registered charity. Established in 1987, it enables financially challenged elderly and disabled people stay in their homes longer. With practical help in the form of garden maintenance and decorating we support people who are unable to carry out these tasks themselves. FACE supports 128 households with gardening (in Faversham, Sittingbourne and surrounding villages) and 45 with decorating in winter.
The visits aren't just about doing the manual work, FACE ensures the clients have contact with someone and connect with the outside world and by doing this, reduces loneliness and social isolation. FACE runs on a donation only basis.

Service access criteria: Elderly and/or disabled people unable to do physical work in garden or DIY. Based in Sittingbourne and surrounding villages.
