Brain injury Support
Verified service

Headway Kent provide support to adults living with brain injury and their family. Understanding the complexity of brain injuries, we offer tailored services to address the unique needs of individuals affected. Our weekly main group sessions, held at various locations in Kent, provide a supportive environment for survivors to engage in cognitive skills, life skills, digital skills, and art. These sessions facilitate the exchange of experiences, coping strategies, and the development of lasting friendships.
For those seeking personalised programs, we offer small group or 1-2-1 sessions. Small groups pair individuals with similar goals, fostering a sense of camaraderie. 1-2-1 sessions, available face-to-face or online, are flexible and cover a range of topics from memory strategies to travel training and education or employment re-entry.
We've introduced free drop-in sessions, open to anyone living with a brain injury, their families, and carers. These sessions provide a platform for questions, information-sharing, or simply a supportive conversation over tea. Accessible both in-person and online, our services aim to accommodate diverse needs.
