Sedbergh Community Transport

The Voluntary Social Car Scheme is funded by Cumbria County Council. The scheme provides transport to members of the community of any age (under 18's must be accompanied by an adult) who cannot make their journey by public or private transport.”

If it’s a medical appointment journey, please try patient transport first. We cover various appointments e.g. hairdresser appointments, dental appointments, shopping, prescriptions, public transport links etc.

We do not offer this service for people who can drive themselves.

We avoid driving at night. Although, we might be able to do early evening sometimes.

Please leave a voice mail, if no one answers. We will aim to get back to you as soon as we can.

The sooner the request is in, the more chance we have to be able to help.

We have 4 volunteer drivers.
