The most frequent questions we hear are about welfare benefits, with people calling to see if they might be able to boost their income by claiming benefits like Pension Credit or Attendance Allowance. Then, it’s social care, with questions about how funding works for a care home, needing care at home and how to arrange a care needs assessment.

We also get calls from people who are lonely and want to reconnect with people and their community. Right now, we’re seeing more calls from people who are worried about the increased cost of living, particularly energy costs.
