What happens in EFL sessions?

We will identify your reasons for seeking out EFL, as well as any specific goals, and then work through an individually tailored programme to help you with whatever challenges you face.

The programme will involve learning self regulation techniques, as well as activities with the horses that allow you to explore different aspects of yourself and your life.

We will discuss any beliefs and thoughts that come up, looking at patterns and behaviors that may negatively impact you and benefit from change.

Within the safe environment of Equine Elements and the safe relationship with the herd, we can practice new behaviors and skills that can then be used in everyday life.

Through working with horses, we can:

Explore how to create and maintain healthy relationships.

Develop our ability to regulate and self soothe.

Improve our self awareness and knowledge of our own capabilities, needs and desires.

Build our confidence and expand our comfort zone.

Process and work through things in our lives that may be holding us back, or causing negative emotions
