Improving Physical and Mental Health for Unpaid Carers

A recent HealthWatch study found that caring responsibilities affect physical and mental health, with many carers reporting that both had become worse since starting their caring role. Wellmoor are partnering with Ottery Help Scheme to offer a free 6 week programme of seated movement classes for unpaid carers in Ottery St Mary and District, starting in May. These classes will involve gentle, mostly seated, creative movement, with the aim of increasing confidence and enjoyment of movement. This class is by invite only, so if you know anyone who is an unpaid carer or you are one yourself, please get in touch on 01647 478378 or email katie@wellmoor.org.uk
