Devon Daytrippers
We are excited to announce that we have secured funding from Devon County Council for more sociable day trips this summer and autumn. These will be a mix of minibus day trips and trips using public transport. We will also be running some men only trips.
The minibus trips will be running on Fridays in May and June. These trips are designed specifically for people aged over 55, who are finding it hard to get out and about, or who may be experiencing social isolation. There will be no charge for the trips, instead you pay what you can afford. We will be going to a variety of favourite destinations such as Dartmouth, Sidmouth, Tavistock and more. Look out for the posters in April for more details.
We will also be running trips in the autumn, using a mix or buses, trains and taxi’s. Some of these trips will be run by men for men, some will be mixed groups. We will be looking for two male volunteers to run our ‘Men on the Move’ trips.
