Melton Breast Friends is a Peer Supporter led group who work under the supervision of Leicestershire Partnership NHS Trust.
Peer Supporters are all volunteers who have breastfed their own babies and who are trained to support mums in their breastfeeding journeys.
We are knowledgeable about breastfeeding and experienced in helping with common queries but please note we are not health care professionals. We are also qualified to talk about topics other than breastfeeding so this group is strictly on topic.
This group meets every Thursday 1pm-2.30pm at The Edge Children’s Centre. We also offer 121 phone support via our peer support mobile – 07825 114 014 where you can text or call for support.
