The Living Room

The Living Room is a weekly group based at St John’s in the Hall, Crossfield Road, Cleator Moor on Fridays 2-4pm. This is a warm, safe place where you can come and feel at home, and meet new friends. We always have hot drinks and amazing cake! We have tables with newspapers, games, jigsaws, and crafty projects. We also have a weekly programme which often includes visitors joining us to tell us about a community project, their local organisation, or share their hobby, passion or joy. Other weeks we have activities like chair aerobics, mindfulness and relaxation techniques, cooking and gardening tips, and singalong sessions! Health and Wellbeing Coaches often attend our sessions and can support individuals to access services they may need. During warmer months, on the fourth Friday of each month we also run community walks at 1pm, meeting at St John's in the Hall.
