Green Skills in Nottingham

Learn green skills and be part of an exciting new community project in Bilborough, Nottingham!

The Little Walled Garden in Bilborough is an allotment space that we want to transform into a community hub, offering activities for people of all ages, abilities, and backgrounds.

We help local residents (aged 19+) who are out of work through this project, which combines volunteering with learning new skills, and working towards a common goal.

You will receive support on a 1-2-1 basis and in group sessions. You’ll learn about sustainable gardening, biodiversity, DIY garden decor, and help create a community space.

You can meet new people, build up self-confidence, improve your health and wellbeing while learning a range of green skills and working together on something wonderful for the whole community to enjoy!

Courses are every week on Tuesdays and Friday

Time required: 12 hours over 2 days
