Measuring Your impact - Telling Your Story, Getting Support, Evaluation and Social Value

Deep Dive sessions look in-depth at a range of topics relevant to VCSE organisations, delivered by a range of experienced trainers.

Please note that a minimum of 5 attendees are required in order for this training to go ahead.

What will the training include?

  • Are you trying to let people know about the great outcomes that have come from your project, but struggling to know where to start?
  • Would you like to learn how to plan what your outcomes are, and what you need to evaluate and evidence?
  • Do you want to know more about the components of great storytelling for case studies and reports?
  • Would you like to learn about qualitative data methods, and how to make them impactful?

Participants will leave this session with a greater understanding about both planning and implementing a Theory of Change plan, as well as writing impactful reports and case studies. They will also gain a greater knowledge of creative qualitative methods of evidencing their impact.

This is an introductory session to thinking both strategically and practically about how you can show your impact and how you’re delivering your outcomes in your organisation or project. We cover the power of storytelling for reporting purposes, how to make your reports and case studies stand out, and how you might gather information to evidence that. This is an interactive session with space for questions, discussion and exploration.

Please note: this session is available to VCSE organisations working within East Devon ONLY. This project is funded by the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
