Activity Based Workshops for People living with YOD

Young onset dementia affects adults between the ages of 30-64. Nationally there are more than 70,800 younger people with dementia.

At Younger People with Dementia, our charity supports people who are diagnosed with dementia under the age of 65 in Berkshire, Surrey Heath, NE Hants, Farnham and Woking. We provide age appropriate activity-based workshops for the person living with dementia from Monday to Friday, with our programme changing every six weeks to suit the needs of our different groups. Examples of groups we have run are arts and crafts, equine therapy, walking groups, katakanuing and climbing.
