New Leaf Support Domestic Abuse Service supports those affected by Domestic Abuse regardless of Gender, in the Swale area of Kent.
As well as our Advocacy service, our pathway of support also has a well being programmes. We understand how you can be affected by living in an abusive home. Our well being programme support mental health, building and repairing confidence and self esteem.
- We facilitate the Phoenix program, it is a 10-week educational programme for people who have experienced abuse - the programme launched in the summer of 2019. The programme has been designed to be interactive, inclusive and educational. We cover safety planning, the tactics used in an abusive relationships, the warning signs as well as personal boundaries and building healthy relationships in a way that is engaging and promotes self-care.
- We also run a variety of well being short courses, building in confidence including, yoga, dance, budgeting courses, keep fit, crafts, cooking on a budget and much more as well as a weekly coffee morning facilitated by the team and volunteers this peer support led.
- During the school holiday we have activities for the family in the holiday period these including swimming, keep fit and dancing activities and trips to local farms.
- We have counselling for adult and healing together children, affected by Domestic Abuse.
- Access to our food bank.
