This vital, and well used service, is more than just a journey, providing not just transport but support and a listening ear when people need it most.
Your own vehicle, taxed and with business or volunteering insurance, and a full UK drivers licence is essential. Parking permits are provided and expenses are paid at 0.45p a mile and any additonal parking costs.
You can volunteer for short journeys in and around the village or longer trips to hospital appointments. Volunteers for both are needed.
