Health and Well-being Activities

HRUA and it's member organisations and partners offer a range activities to promote local community health and well-being, both physical and mental. Most of these activities are completely free and require no booking or membership.
- volunteering, such as community gardening or helping with events
- sports: bowls club, team sports, tennis courts and parkrun
- health-walks and social activities
- gentle exercise 'boot-camp', Tai Chi for Health

We are not able to accept safeguarding responsibility. All participants in these activities must be responsible for their own safety and well-being, or be accompanied by someone who does.

Service access criteria:

Anyone who uses the park can join in these activities, mostly without any referral, registration or membership. Some - the bowls, team sports, tennis, parkrun - may require you to join a club or register with a website
