Community Navigator - Faversham & Sittingbourne

Age UK Kent Rivers' Community Navigator works in collaboration with Connect Well East Kent, and offers free, confidential and impartial advice to people over 50 to help them stay independent in their own homes.

What can a Community Navigator help with?
Our Community Navigator offers home visits to help with a variety of options including;

o Staying safe and secure at home
o Maintaining and adapting your home to yours needs
o Managing your money and benefits

We will then look into the issues you have discussed and help you find the best way forward, offering you a list of options to choose from where appropriate. Our Community Navigator is a qualified KCC Community Equipment Assessor for simple aids and adaptations in the home.

Our current Community Navigator is Karen Fluke and covers people who are registered with a Faversham or Whitstable GP Surgery. The service runs Monday to Friday 9am to 4pm.
