The Bay: A Blueprint for Recovery

Our nature and wellbeing sessions are free, weekly small-group sessions allowing you to connect with nature and help your wellbeing.  Your sessions will last for a few months, giving you a weekly opportunity to get out in the fresh air and meet like-minded people while helping local nature to thrive.  Activities range from walks in nature, learning about local wildlife, cleaning our local beaches of plastic waste, getting involved in species surveys, trying out bushcraft and survival skills to wildlife-friendly gardening on an allotment and much more.   Travel expenses up to £8/ day can be provided.

The Bay: A Blueprint for Recovery is a nature and wellbeing service, offering people around Morecambe Bay the opportunity to take part in a range of activities which cover the 5 Ways to Wellbeing: Give, Connect, Learn, Take Notice, Be Active.  Taking part in a variety of nature-based activities, participants connect with the wonderful nature of The Bay, learn new skills, experience new things, and connect with other people.  We are a partnership between Lancashire Wildlife Trust, Cumbria Wildlife Trust, Eden Project and the NHS.
