What to Expect:
Dates and Time: Fridays, 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM, from 8th November to 20th December.
Format: Online sessions via Zoom.
Cost: £100 for the full 8-week course (materials provided via post). Limited low-cost places available to people receiving full UC/Disability benefits/ or 18-25.
Open to All: Whether you’re an experienced writer or a beginner in art, everyone is welcome.
Activities & Techniques: Writing through arts. Cut up, erase, highlight, scatter, collage, and place—drawing inspiration from print and texts to find words that resonate with you. We will be using Collage, Cut and reform, Found text images, Adaptive Storytelling, Document redaction and Erasure poetry, and hidden messages through wax relief and homemade inks.
Emotional Wellbeing: This “Create Support” series of workshops aims to provide creative outlets for individuals dealing with anxiety or low mood, who are trying to find ways to express themselves through creativity.
For individuals dealing with anxiety or low mood, who struggle to express themselves.
May be rural, or have social anxiety and prefer to work online.
