Macular Society groups provide information and support to anybody with macular disease, their family, friends and carers. As with all our groups, the Chester group offers a warm and compassionate environment in which you will learn about the help and support that is available, build your confidence, and better understand your macular condition. Attending meetings is also a great way to make new friends who truly understand what it is like to have macular disease. Occasionally, we invite specialist speakers along to talk about their products and services, which might be of interest to you.
You can attend group meetings in person, you can join one of our telephone groups, or you can do both! Whatever works best for you.
For more information, or free confidential advice and support, call our helpline on 0300 3030 111 or email help@macularsociety.org
Lines are open 9am - 5pm Monday to Friday
Being diagnosed with macular disease can be distressing and worrying but, with the right information and support, people can cope very well.
No one has to face macular disease alone. The Macular Society has been supporting people with macular conditions for almost 40 years. It provides a range of information and services to those with macular disease, and to their families, carers and friends.
