We would like to take this opportunity to introduce ourselves and our company, Mariposa Community Support Ltd, and would be very grateful if you would kindly forward this pack to the most relevant person should this not be yourself.
Mariposa Community Support Ltd was formed in 2023 as a personal support service, our founders both being registered Nurses with many years of both community & inpatient experience.
Whilst undertaking our clinical roles it became increasingly clear that there are many areas of wider support needed outside of health-related care to help maintain independence & quality of life for those both older in age or with additional needs.
So in a small way we decided to offer the support needed.
Mariposa are by intention & design a small team of like-minded people who strive to provide individualised, person guided support services with continuity, so we build strong relationships and trust with those who we support. We aren’t an agency, we don’t wear uniforms, we provide a discreet & friendly helping hand.
Our staff have enhanced DBS and are drivers with business insurance, and of course we have full public liability insurance cover to enable the provision of transport and assistance to attend appointments, social events or to simply enable day to day activities such as shopping.
Our support is fluid & includes such things as meal preparation, medication prompts, assistance with communication, shopping, light household duties, pet walking, social companionship, support following hospital discharge, all totally guided by the persons needs. We can assist with mobilisation, preparation & support for personal care, as long as the person is able to undertake this independently.
We cover the Bromsgrove area, including surrounding areas such as Droitwich, and into Kidderminster, and also consider additional extended areas such as South Birmingham, offering a minimum 1-hour support call which is never rushed or cut short.
Please take a look at our website www.mariposacommunitysupport.co.uk or call Tracy on 07448-330563, or Dionne on 07440-684072 for and informal chat and more information. We would be pleased to arrange a meeting to introduce our services in more detail should you think that we could offer support you may have identified within your patient bases, social groups or personal requirements.
Our support team offer help and assistance to people of all ages to live as independently as possible. We strive to help with individual needs and be adaptable. Our support can include things like shopping, food preparation, medication prompting, light household duties, help to get out and about, companionship, support on hospital discharge and chapperone to appointments, but it's is your support or that of your loved ones and we try to be fluid in meeting your individual needs.
We are here to try and 'make life lighter', and this is for those needing support and those carers providing it who may need to take a little break.
